Overview

TailoredOS ("TailoredOS," "we," "us") builds custom websites and business software (Business OS) for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through tailoredos.com and our Business OS client dashboards, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It does not cover the individual client websites or dashboards we build for our customers, each of which runs under its own policies.

Information we collect

We collect information in three places, and nowhere else:

• The quote request form (get-a-quote.html). Name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), and whatever you tell us about your project. This is submitted through Netlify's form handling and lands in our inbox so we can respond.
• Business OS client accounts (Client Login). If you're an existing client, your login email and password are stored by Supabase, our authentication and database provider, so you can access your dashboard. We never see or store your password in plain text.
• Anonymous site analytics. While you browse tailoredos.com, a small script records which pages you view, how you got here (referrer), your device and browser type, roughly how far you scrolled, and how long you stayed. This is tied to a randomly generated id stored in your browser, not to your name or any account, unless you've also logged in or submitted the quote form separately. We also record an approximate location (country, state/region, and city) derived automatically from your connection by our hosting provider, Netlify, and we never see or store your actual IP address.

How we use it

• To respond to quote requests and follow up about a potential project
• To operate Business OS client accounts and dashboards
• To understand which pages on tailoredos.com are useful and which aren't, so we can improve the site
• To keep the site secure and catch abuse (spam form submissions, automated traffic)

We do not use anything we collect for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Third-party services we use

tailoredos.com is hand-coded, not built on a page-builder platform, which keeps the list of outside services short:

• Netlify: hosting, form handling, and the serverless functions that power our analytics and client-account system.
• Supabase: authentication and database storage for Business OS client accounts and site analytics.
• Google Fonts: loads the Manrope and Inter typefaces used across the site. Google may log standard request information (like your IP address) when your browser fetches these font files, the same as any font or asset hosted elsewhere on the web.
• jsDelivr: a content delivery network we use to load the Supabase client library used by Client Login.

We do not run any advertising networks, ad pixels, or third-party analytics trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no similar tools) on tailoredos.com.

Cookies & local storage

We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. tailoredos.com uses your browser's local storage to remember a randomly generated visitor id (so our analytics can tell repeat visits from new ones) and, separately, Supabase uses local storage to keep you signed in to Client Login between visits. You can clear these at any time through your browser's settings; clearing them will simply sign you out and start a new anonymous visitor id.

Data sharing & sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason. We only share information with the service providers named above (Netlify, Supabase), each of whom processes it on our behalf to run the site, and only to the extent needed to do that. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TailoredOS, our clients, or others.

Data retention

Quote request submissions are kept as long as reasonably useful for following up on a potential project, and deleted on request. Client account data is kept for the duration of an active client relationship and for a reasonable period after, consistent with standard business recordkeeping. Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregate for understanding site trends over time; because it isn't tied to your identity, it generally isn't something we can look up or delete per visitor.

Your rights & choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (quote request details or a client account) at any time by emailing us at the address below. We'll respond and act on reasonable requests promptly.

Children's privacy

tailoredos.com is a business-to-business site intended for business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. We encourage checking back here occasionally.
